OBJECTIVES The main purposes of the ATHENS 2000 Workshop are:

PAPER SUBMISSION You are encouraged to contribute to the Workshop by submitting your latest research, development results and ideas. Abstracts should be submitted as MS Word document, if possible by e-mail, please see INFORMATION.
ORGANIZATION The Workshop will be organized by:
and will be hosted by the National Technical University of Athens VENUE The Workshop will be held at the National Technical University of Athens, University Campus, in Zographos area, quite close to the historical center of Athens (15 min by car). Local transportation is available from the airport by bus transfer to the center of Athens and from there to the conference site. For the 4th, 5th and 6th transportation will be arranged from the hotel to the University Campus and vice versa. At the University there is a comfortable conference hall and proper facilities (restaurant, photocopy equipment, multimedia, free parking space etc). Full directions will be sent with conference joining instructions. The Workshop will last three days 4th -6th October, 2000. During the Workshop, there will be:
On Saturday, 7.10.2000 and/or Sunday, 8.10.2000 archaeological sightseeing, lunch at Athens' historical center, visit at the ancient temple of Poseidon in Sounion (60 km from Athens along the coastline) and/or one day cruise to the Greek Islands, will be arranged.
