Roads
In SPOT images, roads have the aspect of fine lineaments, typically 1 to 3 pixels broad.
Motor ways have a width from 6 to 7 pixels.

Radiometry | Longitudinal radiometric variations are weak and texture is homogeneous, because the flooring is homogeneous. Generally a lineament stands out clearly from its environment.

Geometry | Curve and slope are low and their maximum values are conditioned by the type of landscape. Length is significant, and width constant. |
Topology | Roads are connected into a network which presents few free ends and includes intersections. Roads connect urban zones. |
