Principle

The conjunctive fusion used consists in preserving only the minimum of all the opinions expressed. I.e. it is necessary that all the sources support sufficiently the proposition ``pixel x belongs to class c".

Conjunctive fusion applies the operator ``minimum'' to the whole of k sources to determine that pixel x belongs to class c:

\begin{displaymath}\pi^c(x) = \min_{s=1,k} (\pi_s^c(x))\end{displaymath}
(52)

After the fusion step, pixel x is assigned to the class for which the degree of membership is strongest.
