Knowing the spectral signatures of each class, the pixels of the image can be classified. They are assigned to the class which they ``resemble'' more, taking into account what we learned from each class.

The process is the following:

• for a given pixel x of a spectral band I_i  , we compute to which degree its radiometry corresponds to that of each class. The pixel is then stored in the class reaching the highest degree.

This process is applied to all pixels of the image.
