The more the conflict decreases, the more disjunctive fusion is limited (figure 29). As the intersection between the possibility distributions becomes large (part A), the plausibility that the true value of parameter x is in this intersection also becomes large. The use of renormalized conjunctive fusion is justified by this coherence between the sources. But, they do not yet agree completely. Disjunctive fusion continues to be used, because a small conflict between the sources remains. Nevertheless, disjunctive fusion is very limited as the conflict between the sources is weak.
