This research project was carried out by the Remote Sensing Laboratory of National Technical University of Athens, Greece, with scientific responsible Prof. D. Rokos, and was funded  by the Secretariat General of Research and Development. 
It has been submitted in 1999 by the title: "On the contribution of Remote Sensing and GIS methods and techniques for groundwater exploration in Naxos island, Cyclades, Greece."
