Median Filter

Due to the distance between the corners of the buildings, the resulting image is a noisy image. So a median filter is applied on the image (Figure 63).

The size of this filter depends on the image resolution and the distance between the corners of buildings:

a 3x3 window is used for a XS SPOT image or
a 5x5 one for a P+XS SPOT image.
