Advantages of the method
|
-
A whole set of pixels is unmixed to identify the average mixing components
of a single region.
|
-
The equations that relate the mean reflectances of the pure and mixed classes
are supplemented by the equations that relate the moments so a more accurate
solution may be obtained.
|
|
-
The non-linearities arising from the intra-class variability of the pure
classes are incorporated in the solution.
